陕西历史博物馆位于古城西安大雁塔（the Dayan Pagoda）西北部，是中国第一座拥有现代化设施的大型国家博物馆。陕西省历史博物馆是一座规模较大的国家级博物馆，馆藏约37.5万件文物。占地面积7万平方米，建筑面积5万多平方米。陕西省是中国古代文明的发祥地。这座博物馆展示了大量的优雅和独创性。它由中国著名女建筑师张金秋设计，具有中国古代宫殿和唐代庭院的建筑特征。

Shaanxi History Museum, which located in the northwest of the Dayan Pagoda of ancient city Xi'an, is the first huge national museum with modern facilities in China. Shaanxi History Museum is a sizable national museum with about 375 thousand historical and cultural artifacts. It covers an area of 70 thousand square meters, with a floor space of over 50 thousand square meters. Shaanxi Province has been the birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization. The museum shows a great deal of elegance and originality. It has the architectural features of ancient Chinese palaces and courtyards of Tang Dynasty.

京剧（Peking Opera）是中国戏曲曲种之一，结合了音乐、发音、表演以及武术等形式。形成于18世纪，在19世纪中期步入成熟期。京剧形成后在清朝宫廷内得到了空前的繁荣，被视为中国国粹。京剧的角色主要分为生、旦、净、丑四种。京剧大师梅兰芳的海外京剧演出促进了中国京剧在海外的传播，增进了东西方文化交流。京剧于2010年获选进入人类非物质文化遗产（the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity）代表作名录。

A form of Chinese opera, Peking Opera combines music, articulation, performance and martial arts. It arose in the late 18th century and became fully developed in the mid-19 century. The form, which was extremely popular in the court of the Qing Dynasty, has been regarded as one of the Chinese national treasures. The roles of the Peking Opera fall into four major categories – Sheng, Dan, Jing and Chou. The beauty of Peking Opera was made known to the rest of the world partly due to the master of Peking Opera Mei Lanfang, whose enthusiastic efforts has promoted the culture communication between the East and the West. Peking Opera was selected as the representative for the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010.
篇章3：冬奥会（四六级参考即可）
2022年北京冬奥会将在北京市和河北省张家口举行。2019年底前通车的高铁将北京市区、北京西北部的延庆区和张家口连接在一起。冬奥会吉祥物大熊猫一直是中国的标志，象征着健康、活泼。冬奥会恰逢中国的春节，也渲染了节日的气氛。
